Where is everyone?
i've been in Shanghai 2 weeks, and i'm not sure how i feel about it yet. It seems dirty, crowded and smelly. But maybe that's just my neighborhood.
The only freakish thing i've done so far is eat a duckbill, and try to find houseplants for my balcony (unheard of around here it seems!.

Sun, August 28, 2005 - 10:07 AMIn the small city of Fuzhou where I live, there ain't many foreigners, and thats partly why people treat them like gods, especially the so-called ESL training centers. But Shanghai is another story. Actually, there are so many foreigners there that Chinese people just don't give a damn at all.
Actually, the Shanghainese are kinda "infamous" for their arrogant attitude towards people from other parts of China and foreign countries.
